What is Zemcelpro?

ZEMCELPRO® (dorocubicel and unexpanded CD34- cells) is an advanced cell therapy designed for adults with blood cancers who do not have a suitable donor, addressing an unmet medical need. It is approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Learn more on the EMA website.

The medicine is a cryopreserved allogeneic hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell therapy containing two cell components derived from the same patient-specific umbilical cord blood unit. The expanded component, dorocubicel (INN), consists of the CD34+ fraction expanded ex vivo in the presence of UM171.

ZEMCELPRO® is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with hematological malignancies requiring an allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation following myeloablative conditioning for whom no other type of suitable donor cells is available.

The therapy is intended for use in specialised transplant centers experienced in the administration and monitoring of allogeneic HSCT.

Please refer to the Product Information for complete prescribing information.

Unexpanded cells (T cells)

Preserved to provide immune cells that support engraftment and immune reconstitution.

ZEMCELPRO®

A combined cell therapy composed of expanded CD34+ cells and unexpanded cells derived from a single patient-matched cord blood unit.
